The 2015 Latest collection from Piquadro is now available. Piquadro is an Italian brand focused on tech-design bags, luggage and accessories for business and leisure.
The three values that inspire the company – design, functionality and technological innovation – are fused with the unique handmade Italian craftsmanship, the quality of prized leather and attention to detail.
In every collection, Piquadro offers a wide range of bags, suitcases and other leather accessories where the originality and elegance of Italian style combine with practicality and reliability, all in the service of work, travel and the intense pace of contemporary life.
The spirit of Piquadro products lies in the fundamental concept underlying the design of each one: “Tech inside”. Indeed, Piquadro makes bags and briefcases specifically designed to safely and elegantly transport technological equipment like laptops, tablets, smartphones, SIM cards and pen drives. The leathers, exclusively Italian, come prevalently from Tuscany, whose ancient traditions make it the most famous and prestigious region for fine leather in the world. Combined with techo-fabrics of the latest generation, they result in products distinguished by a recognizable aesthetic in both classic and unexpected colours.
The Piquadro headquarters are in Gaggio Montano, halfway between Florence and Bologna in the Tuscan-Emilian foothills of the Appenine range. It is here that all the phases of design, production, purchasing, quality control, logistics, marketing, communication and distribution are conducted.
Piquadro is available in more than 50 countries through an extensive distribution network that includes approximately 100 mono-brand boutiques.
The 2015 Piquadro collection designed by Giancarlo Petriglia comprises four ranges which embody Piquadro’s technological and functional essence and also showcases the out-of-the-mould creative flair of the Milanese designer, winner of the 2012 edition of the prestigious competition for young designers “Who is on Next?,” promoted by Vogue Italia and AltaRoma.
