As one gets older, one inclines to creature comforts with the emphasis on comfort. Traveling means that we prefer to be in a place where it can be our home away from home. If Park Hyatt is our home in Saigon, I will always want to stay at “home” then.
Here’s what most people don’t know – customer experience starts even before the guests arrive in the hotel. The way the hotel communicates with your inquiries or requests is already an important experience. Park Hyatt Saigon delivered and more! I contacted them to book a Ben Tre tour – off the listed schedule, because our flight comes in later in the morning and in an hour of sending the email, someone replied and gave me several options, further customizing our tour! Impressive indeed! Oh, and they also prepared a small snack for us for the trip. Believe me when I say it is the small things that make a difference.
The room is spacious, elegantly decorated with French influence (of course) and the bed is just heavenly! Oh, and I judge fruit platters too. It’s just that I strongly believe that the fruit platter also represents how the hotel weaves the local culture in their brand. We had fresh guavas! Brilliant!
The service is impeccable. From the concierge to the housekeeping staff, everyone was all smiles and were more than helpful – going out of their way to find out the answer to your question or request, none of that “I don’t know/Not my department/can you call this department instead” Special shoutout to our driver Nguoc for being a really calm, cool and collected driver.
The hotel takes a lot of work in incorporating nature in the establishment from the pretty potted plants in the room to the flower gardens in the pool, it makes you feel relaxed.
